Sisters Natalie and Kim Ellis started The Joinery to provide an alternative to the way fashion and products are produced, and to improve on the processes already in place. The Joinery began as a dream to impact local communities through sustainable design and has since evolved into an enduring commitment to an environmentally and socially conscious approach to design that respects people and planet.

The Joinery is a sustainable and ethical product and lifestyle brand. Their products are produced locally by workers who are upskilled from previously disadvantage areas in Cape Town, South Africa.
For their latest range of products, The Joinery produced a bespoke fabric using recycled plastic bottles which have all been collected from around South Africa, ensuring they keep plastic out of landfill.
They have created a luxury recycled felt fabric and finding a solution to a very prevalent issue of plastic use and landfill issues in South Africa allows The Joinery to close the loop on sustainable fashion.

The Joinery is a brand and product we truly believe in and we are humbled to work with them. Our Co-Founder Matanna Katz Prop Styled and Photographed their latest range of products and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.
